Jimmy D. Goglin was born in Pierre, South Dakota and is a 1977 graduate of Pierre Riggs High School. He completed his pre-Mortuary studies at Black Hills State College in Spearfish, South Dakota and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas in 1985. Based on his scholastic standing during his time at the institute, Jim was admitted to Psi Sigma Eta, an honorary funeral service fraternity represented at the college by the Epsilon Chapter. In October 2015, Jim celebrated his 30 year anniversary of serving as a funeral director for our local communities.
Jim holds a Funeral Director license from the states of South Dakota, North Dakota, and Nebraska. Jim is Coroner for Bon Homme County and Deputy Coroner for Hutchinson and Yankton Counties. He is a designated Certified Funeral Service Practitioner. Jim is also a licensed insurance agent in South Dakota, and represents Homesteader’s Life, Great Western Insurance Company, and the quality line of funeral funding products that they offer.
Prior to and during his education, he was employed by Isburg Funeral Home in Pierre, South Dakota and Fidler Funeral Chapels of Spearfish and Lead, South Dakota, and Sundance, Wyoming.
Ethan H. D. Schroeder was raised in Tyndall, South Dakota, and is a 2016 Homeschool graduate. He is enrolled at Des Moines Area Community College mortuary track. While also serving his 12-month-long Funeral Directors Apprenticeship at Goglin Funeral Home.
Ethan's journey in the funeral and memorial industry commenced in 2013 when he first joined as Jim's assistant. Over time, he transitioned into the role of Manager at Goglin Monuments. His passion and dedication to the field culminated in the acquisition of the company in early 2021. Following this acquisition, he rebranded it as Schroeder Memorials.

Karen was born and raised in Tyndall, SD where she aquired good work ethics and customer service skills from her parents, in their second generation business, Pechl's Market & Locker.
She graduated from Tyndall-Tabor High School and then attended the Univeristy of South Dakota at Vermillion, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
Following a career, primarily in the accounting field, she joined Goglin Funeral Homes in the fall of 2019. Working part-time as an office and funeral assistant, she enjoyes designing funeral folders, creating video tributes and writing obituaries, where she's discovered, that everyone has an interesting story.
Karen is a member of St. Leo Catholic Church, where she serves as a lector and eucharistic minister. She and her husband, Robert, enjoy golfing and spending time with friends.
Bill Perry was born in 1951 in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada. Bill met his wife Wendy in 1972 and together they have 2 daughters, Charolette and Kathy. In 1992 Bill lost Wendy to cancer. Bill started in the funeral business November 1, 1975 which began Bill's 49 years in the funeral industry. In 1978 Bill graduated from Mortuary School in Burnaby British Columbia. In 1999 Bill purchased the funeral home in Ashcroft British Columbia. In July of 2014, Bill had the opportunity to sell and semi-retire. During winter travels to Yuma Arizona in 2016, he met Jean Beringer. Together they formed a long distance relationship until Bill moved to Tyndall. Jean and Bill married in September 2021. Bill likes to travel, loves animals and golfing.
