Sharon Gall, age 76, of Sioux Fall and formerly of Tripp, was called to her heavenly home Tuesday, December 22, 2020, with family at her bedside at the Sanford Ava’s House in Sioux Falls.
Sharon was born on July 31, 1944, to Henry and Marie Guthmiller Gall at Parkston, SD. She was baptized at the rural Tripp Immanuel Creek church by Reverend Walter Odenbach and confirmed at Friedens U.C.C. in Tripp, SD, by Reverend Theophil Blaufuss.
Sharon received her elementary education at the Dewald and Baltzer country schools and graduated from Tripp High School in 1962. She then attended college for 3 ½ years at SDSU and Mount Marty College.
Sharon was a very dedicated employee at Osco Drug in Sioux Falls for thirty-five years, followed by twenty years at Ace Hardware. When not clocked in at work, she enjoyed watching football on tv, especially Chicago Bears games. She also enjoyed attending softball games, cheering on her great-nieces Jaida and Brooklyn.
Grateful for having shared Sharon’s life are her sister Lorna (Dale) Weisser, brothers Mervin (Eileen) Gall and Merald (Kristie) Gall, as well as eight nieces and nephews: Kevin Weisser, Kelly (Carla) Weisser, Wayne Weisser, Corey (Deanna) Gall, Wade Gall, Stacy (Terry) Klumker, JJ (Luisa) Gall, Jamie (David) Ash and nineteen great-nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother Hilmer Harvey Gall.
