Pearl Blodgett

Pearl Mae Blodgett, age 73, passed away, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her home in Yankton, with family at her side.

Honoring Pearl’s wishes, no services will be held.

Pearl was born May 4, 1950 to Irving and Antona (Erickson) Brandon. She was a graduate of Gayville High School. Pearl married Larry E. Blodgett, August 15, 1970 at Vangen Lutheran Church in Mission Hill.  

Pearl is survived by her husband, Larry E. Blodgett; daughter, Lori (Todd) Rueb and their son, Zachary Rueb; daughter, Lynn Blodgett and her daughters, Lily and Lucy Blodgett; son, Larry N. Blodgett; sister, Marlys Novak; sister, Neoma Dangel; brother, Neil Brandon; brother-in-law, Steve Zimmerman and sister-in-law, Barb Brandon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Antona Brandon; in-laws, Roy and Lucille Blodgett; brother-in-law, Gordon Blodgett; sister-in-law, Shirley Davis; sisters, Beverly Binder, Gloria Brandon and Lorraine Zimmerman; brother, Dennis Brandon; sister-in-law, Donna Brandon and brothers-in-law, Roger Novak and Philip Dangel.
