Margean G. Mueller was born Thursday, February 14, 1929 at Tripp, South Dakota. She was the only child of Gustaf and Elsie (Giesler) Mueller. Margean’s father was the dentist in Tripp, and passed away at the young age of 42. Her mother raised her and owned and operated Milady's Dress Shop. Margean worked in the store and left home to study fashion merchandising at a fashion college in Chicago when she was 25 years old. Returning home following her training, she continued to run the dress shop with her mother. Over the many years working in the dress shop, Margean made lifelong friends and always enjoyed spending her special Valentine’s Day birthday with them. She retired in 1996 and became a resident at the Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell in 1999. It is there that she passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010 having attained the age of 81 years, 7 months and 21 days.
Margean is survived by many friends and was preceded in death by her father and mother, Gustaf and Elise Mueller.
