Laurie Ann Brunette was born on Thursday, March 30, 1978 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada to Richard and Catherine (Mack) Brunette. She loved singing and music, and in her younger years loved to rollerskate. She will be remembered as a caring young woman with a big heart who especially loved her three boys. She was baptized on December 5, 1999 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Tripp. Laurie passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her residence in Tripp at the age of 34 years, 1 month and 22 days.
Laurie is survived by her fiancé, Lawrence G. Polvorosa of Tripp; three sons: Richard A. Brunette of Tripp, Jacob R. Brunette of Arizona and Kenneth J. Meisenhoelder of Tripp; her parents: Richard and Catherine Brunette of Tripp; a sister, Carolyn Joyce Brunette of Tripp; two nephews, Nicholas and Matthew Brunette of Tripp; a niece, Faith Brunette of Tripp; her maternal grandmothers, Udee Knisley of Tripp and Elaine Mack of Ohio; an aunt, Sherilynn Rodgers of Ohio; an uncle, David K. (Ruth) Mack of West Virginia; and numerous cousins.
Laurie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Shirley Brunette, her maternal grandfather, Robert A. Mack, two uncles: David Shirey and Michael Mack, and a cousin, Jacob Mack.
