Larry James Novak
Larry Novak, age 78, passed away Wednesday, June 16 at his home in Verdigre, Nebraska with family at his side.
Larry James Novak was born June 26, 1942 to James and Lorraine (Ligon) Novak in Yankton, South Dakota. He was a graduate of Yankton High School.
Larry married Janice Wirth January 25, 1963 in Yankton. They were blessed with four children. Larry worked as a quality control manager at Morgan Manufacturing for over 45 years.
Larry’s love for motorcycles began over 65 years ago. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and teaching his kids everything he knew.
Larry and Janice moved from Yankton to Verdigre, Nebraska in 1999. They enjoyed spending time together on their quiet piece of land with their animals and birds. Larry had many cherished friendships that he maintained throughout the years.
Larry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice; daughter Melissa Keirn of Temecula, CA; son Brandon (Cynthia) Novak of Mission Hill, SD; daughter Sara (Tony) Jensen of Billings, MT and daughter Jamie (companion James Lagler) Gartner of Davis, SD; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and sister Judy (Novak) Johnson of Saginaw, MI.
He was preceded in death by his father James Novak; mother Lorraine (Ligon) Novak; brother Gene Novak and brother-in-law Gerald Johnson.
Honoring Larry's wishes, no services will be held.
