Kenneth Stoebner was born on November 4, 1929 to Fred and Caroline (Huether) Stoebner in Mitchell, South Dakota. He attended country school until the 8th grade at which time began his calling as a farmer on the family farm in rural Tripp.
During the Korean War, Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps stateside in Washington state. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home to continue farming. Besides crop farming, Kenneth's biggest interest was in laying hens.
He was a simple, hardworking man who enjoyed his farm. He entered the Good Samaritan Home of Tripp in August of 2012.
Kenneth passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Home of Tripp having attained the age of 87 years, 7 months, and 26 days.
He is survived and remembered by his Stoebner and Huether cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant sister.
