Jean Margaret Finck

Jean Margaret Wiederrich Finck was born on June 23, 1930 on a farm 5 miles south of Tripp in Bon Homme County, South Dakota to parents August R and Viola A. (Schelske) Wiederrich. Jean graduated from Tripp High School in 1948. Jean married Neil Finck on November 22, 1948 at the Immanuel Reformed Church South of Tripp. They were married for 69 years. She lived on the farm her whole life moving in to Tripp in 2010. Jean loved working in the garden with her flowers, she enjoyed sewing and mostly she became a very good painter. Painting many of portraits and scenic paintings both became her specialty.
Jean is survived by her two children John (Marla) Finck, Tripp, SD. and Lynn Hoesing, Viborg, SD. Sister Joan Stiefel, Tea, SD. 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Neil and son-in-law Steve Hoesing.
