Jayne Louise Beilby Seeley

Jayne L. Beilby Seeley, age 64, died Thursday, October 27, 2022 of cancer at Avera Sister James Care Center. 

Jayne Louise Beilby was born September 30, 1958 in Yankton to Nancy Lee (Seeley) and Robert Arthur Beilby. Jayne attended Yankton High School and lived most of her life in Yankton. She worked as a dental assistant for several years for her father and also spent time working in the long-term care field in her earlier years.

Jayne added her mother’s maiden name of Seeley to her name after her mother died in 1994 as a way of remembering her. Jayne had many interests including photography, gardening, horses, music and she especially loved her dogs. Her family will miss her sensitivity and sense of humor. 

Jayne was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents and her niece, Jaxon Ann Reedy.

Survivors include her sister, Meg (Steve) Reedy, Wyoming, MN; three brothers: Chris (Wendy), Rock Springs, WY, Jon (Joni), Corvallis, OR and Matt (Julie), Loveland, CO; 5 nieces and 2 nephews.

A private, family service will be held at a future time.
