James W. Harley (born August 11, 1962) passed away in Scotland, SD on January 16, 2018. He was born in Rapid City, SD and spent most of his teenage years in Hardin, MT until moving to Kent, WA in the mid 80's. He moved to Scotland, SD in 2006.
Jim loved Mountain Dew, muscle cars, rock 'n roll, and his farm at Scotland. Jim had a contagious laugh and was a talented story teller. He also loved to tell jokes and always delivered a flawless punch line. When he wasn't fixing cars or training horses, he enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his family.
Jim is survived by his mother, Judy Harley, his sister Debbie Schock, his brothers George Harley and Michael Harley, and his aunt Sue Pilemalm, and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Harley, and his brother, Butch Harley.
