Harlo Albert Vetter was born Sunday, May 14, 1939 in Tripp, South Dakota to Albert and Clara (Pietz) Vetter. He was baptized on July 11, 1939 and was confirmed on June 20, 1954. He was a member of the First American Lutheran Church. Harlo loved occasions when the entire family would gather. He liked to go on bus tours, work on puzzles and watch DVD’s. He enjoyed baking kuchens, some of which earned blue ribbons at the Hutchinson County Fair. Harlo lived his entire life on the farm that he loved, and it is there that he passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the age of 70 years and 27 days.
He is survived by his twin sister and brother-in-law, Marcella and Gebhardt Fischer of Menno; seven nephews: Jerry and wife Amy, Dennis, Myron and wife Heidi, Paul, David and wife Jodi, Mark and wife Michelle, Brian and wife Stephanie; and 20 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Harlo was preceded in death by his father, Albert Vetter, mother Clara Vetter, and stepmother Ida Vetter.
