Geraldine "Judy" Naff, age 102, of Sioux Falls and formerly from Tyndall, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2022 at St Leo Catholic Church in Tyndall, with an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial will be in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Tyndall.
Judy was born September 2, 1919 at Tyndall. Her parents were John and Amanda (Taplett) Daub.
Judy graduated from Tyndall High School and went on to school in Sioux Falls to become a beautician. Judy married Paul Gaertner in September of 1943 and they made their home in Mitchell.
Following the untimely death of her husband, Paul in 1959, Judy moved to Tyndall in 1960 where she operated a beauty salon until 1971. She married William Naff in Lakewood, California, January 8, 1972.
Judy was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She served on the Tyndall Housing and Redevelopment Committee.
Judy is survived by her step-children, Susan (Leo) Smith of Missouri, Cathy (Rodney) Bevill of Arkansas, John Naff of Oregon and Carol Naff of Wisconsin; nieces and nephews, Gloria (Glenn) Bode of Faulkton, Gayle (Art) Donovan, Glenda (Ron) Balthazor, Gary (LuAnn) Wright and Glenn (Kay) Wright, all of Sioux Falls, SD; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; great nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, three sisters and a brother-in-law.
