Dorothea 'Dottie' Blaha

Dorothea 'Dottie' Blaha, age 82, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at her home in Yankton.

Her memorial service, officiated by Deacon Jack Dahlseid, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 21 at Goglin Funeral Home in Yankton, SD. Interment, with Fr. Darin Schmidt, will be 12:30 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Cemetery in Tyndall. 

Dorothea ‘Dottie’ Elizabeth Blaha, was born on October 25, 1942, to Harold and Elizabeth Davis, in Carthage, MO, and died December 12, 2024, at her residence in Yankton, SD.

Dottie is survived by her daughter, Annette Blaha (Dale) Mudder of Yankton; grandson, Dan (Ashley) Mudder and great-grandsons, Benjamin and Dylan, of Casper, WY; granddaughter, Carisa Mudder (Jeremy) Cuka and great-grandchildren, Carsen, Isabelle and Conner of Yankton; her son, Jon (Sheila) Blaha of Yankton; granddaughter, Tara Blaha (Jacob) Soukup and great-grandchildren, Andy, Maren and unborn baby “Jellybean,” of O’Neill, NE; and grandson, Mason (Amanda) Blaha of Yankton; her brother, Charlie Davis of Box Elder, SD and all of her extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Elizabeth Davis; brothers, Tony and John Davis; sons, Michael and Paul Blaha; husband, Marvin Blaha; husband, Robert Berg; her Great Dane dogs, Lili and Parker and her cats, Baby and Ms. Kitty.
