Donna Rae Daniels

Donna Rae Daniels, age 72, died peacefully at her home in Yankton, Saturday, October 15, 2022. No services are planned.

Donna was born July 4, 1950 to James P. and Charlotte (Ackerman) McManus in Volin, SD. She was a 1969 graduate of Volin High School.

Donna married Dean C. Daniels May 9, 1981 in Yankton. She spent many years working at HSC and the Walnut Tavern in addition to being owner-operator at Stockman’s Café.

Donna was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her marvelous cooking, she enjoyed clowns and had an amazing jewelry collection.

Donna is survived by her son, John; daughter, Danielle; three grandchildren, Marissa, Jeremy and Charlie; 2 great-grandchildren, Jade and Theos; 12 brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; father, James; mother, Charlotte; one sister and one brother.
