Donald Floyd Holm

Donald F Holm, age 79 of Tabor, passed away, Monday, December 19, 2022 at Sister James Care Center in Yankton, SD.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 26 at the Stone Church (Our Savior's Lutheran Church) near Menno. Visitation begins 9:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Scotland.

Donald F. Holm, age 79, was born May 5, 1943 at Scotland, SD to Hans and Esther (Wudel) Holm. Don was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior Lutheran Church, rural Menno, where he was a life time member. He graduated from Scotland High School in 1961. He farmed all his life in the Tabor area. He was care giver for his parents until their passing.

Don liked high performance Chevrolet cars and liked John Deere tractors –especially the large two-cylinder diesel models.

Surviving is a special friend, Linda Johannsen; sister-in-law, Shirley Pietz and three nieces, Connie, Sherrie and Julie.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Hans on April 4 1984; his mother, Esther on August 10, 2002 and brother, Dennis on August 31, 2009.
