Delores Jane Wiederrich was born on April 6, 1929 to Albert and Emma (Kocourek) Wittmeier at Tyndall, South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed by Rev. O. H. Hessel at the Methodist Church in Tyndall. She attended grade school and high school in Tyndall. Delores attended Southern State Teacher’s College in Springfield and earned her degree in teaching. She taught country school and substitute teaching in the Tyndall school district. She loved music and was active in the women’s and mixed choirs at Friedens Reformed Church in Tripp.
On December 23, 1948, Delores was united in marriage to Darrel Wiederrich by Rev. Dierks of the Methodist Church in Tyndall. They made their home on a farm south of Tripp. Delores loved their life on the farm, it was only in January 2016 that health required her to move into the Good Samaritan Society of Tripp.
On Friday, July 1, 2016, Delores went home to be with her husband in Heaven.
She is survived and remembered by her three sons: Dan Wiederrich of Tripp, Jon Jay Wiederrich of Tripp, Doug (Cheryl) Wiederrich of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren Josh and Jennifer Wiederrich; sister Irene Fischer of Tripp; brother Kenneth (Norma) Wittmeier of Tyndall; two nieces; and two nephews.
She was preceded into Heaven by her husband Darrel in March 2001 and her parents.
