Charles B. Tommeraasen

11/12/1950 - 8/11/2021

Chuck came into this life on November 12, 1950 to Bernard and Agnes (Olson) Tommeraasen in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

He left this earthly plain August 11, 2021. His parents were there to greet him.

He left behind his wife, Colleen (Menke); daughters Else (Greg) Umbreit, Kari (Omman) Hilleson and Erin (Dan M.) Tommeraasen; sons Seth (Christina) Tommeraasen, Chris (AnnMarie) Schimmel, Cody Tommeraasen, and Heath Becker, along with his beloved grandchildren, Alice, Bree, Eddie, Nils, Max, Gabe and Kylar.

His siblings, Leona (Greg) Pyle, Sally (Terry) Keizer and Steve (Nancy) Tommeraasen will miss him dearly.

Chuck was a quiet, gentle man. He enjoyed travel after his retirement. He spent his summers in Yankton, SD in his RV making friends and enjoying games and puzzles with them. He spent his winters in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas where he made more friends, square danced, round danced, and became active in a charity for children in Mexico.

He had a good life filled with family and friends.

We will miss him every day.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at a later date.
