Barry Dallas Cross, 62, of Sioux Falls, SD died on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Avera Majestic Bluffs Hospice House, Yankton, SD.
He was born on July 21, 1955 in Bloomfield, NE to Del Earl Cross & Janet Lou (Wecker) Cross. He graduated from Bloomfield High School and attended Wesleyan University, in Lincoln.
Barry spent the last 30 years as an over the road truckdriver, the most recent 17 years with Reisch Trucking of Luverne, Minnesota. He was an ardent Minnesota Vikings football fan. He died of a brain tumor diagnosed in October.
Barry is survived by his father, Del (Mayme) Cross, of Bloomfield; mother, Jan (Daryl) Hall, of Lincoln; and two sisters, Deb (Rod) Lemke of Waverly and Natalie (Jack) Peetz of Lincoln.
Memorials to: Avera Sacred Heart Foundation, Avera Majestic Bluffs Hospice House Endowment, 501 Summit St., Yankton, SD 57078.
A private family service will be held at the Crofton cemetery.
A private family graveside service will be held.
