Arnold "Arnie" Boschker

Arnold “Arnie” Boschker was born on September 14, 1944 to John and Martha (Mesman) Boschker in Springfield, South Dakota. On September 21, 1996, he was united in marriage to Lillace “Lucy” Conrad. He loved his job as a semi-truck driver. He enjoyed riding horses and drinking coffee with his friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arnie passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home in Yankton, South Dakota having attained the age of 75 years.
He is survived and remembered by his wife of 23 years, Lucy Boschker of Yankton, SD; children: Kim Graves, Amy Montefering, Wendy (Brian Kemnitz) Boschker, Kristina (Thom) Bouska, and Luke (Hannah) Lorenz; grandchildren: Allen Montefering, Shannon Montefering, Kali (Trevor) Boschker, Charles Thornton, David Thornton, Nick Boschker, Ella Kemnitz, Mason Kemnitz, McKayla Bouska, Samantha Straatmeyer, and James Bouska; great-grandchildren: Bradyn, Xavier, Teagen, and Audree; brother-in-law Lee (Darla) Conrad; and good friends, Cowboy (Melinda) Larson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the Avera hospice team who took such great care of our loved one: Natalia, Misty, and Melissa.

The family will be hosting a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2019 in Arnie’s shed at his home at 107 Nome St. Yankton, SD 57078. We invite any who knew him to come and share their stories of his life with those who loved him most.
