Allen Raymond Rehurek

Allen Raymond Rehurek, age 70 of Tyndall, SD passed away, Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.

Funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 11 at United Methodist Church in Tyndall. Interment will be in the Tyndall Cemetery.

Allen was born Monday, October 26, 1953 to Calvin and Lorraine (Hamberger) Rehurek in Yankton, SD. Al attended school in Tyndall. He later obtained his GED. Al was a hard worker and not afraid to take on any job. For a while he worked as a sales associate for K-Mart in Yankton. His love of outdoors, led to years of landscaping and general labor tasks around Tyndall. Al was an avid metal die cast car collector. He also enjoyed watching football and wrestling. Al was considered a friend to many. 

Al is survived by his mother, Lorraine Rehurek of Tyndall; sisters, Sharon (Rudy) Bitterman of Tripp, Lou Rehurek of Sioux Falls and Candy (Keith) Raysby of Avon; brother, Terry Rehurek of Tyndall and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Alfred Rehurek; brother, Ronald Rehurek and infant brothers, Calvin Lee Rehurek and Donald Sylvester Rehurek.
